A1 Padel New York Grand Master Tournament
The Story
A1 Padel, a premier international padel circuit, was eager to expand its reach beyond Europe and Latin America by bringing elite competition to New York City. As the fastest-growing sport in the world, the organization was looking to generate more awareness for padel in the United States. IDEKO teamed up with A1 Padel to produce the New York Grand Master Tournament, the circuit’s first-ever US-based event at Central Park’s Wollman Rink. The tournament hosted 32 doubles teams that played single-elimination matches leading up to the championship match.
Our team worked closely with the client on advance planning, including site optimization, seating plans, permitting, fabrication, shipping logistics, and receiving the padel court from Europe. During the week of play, we oversaw site operations and event management to ensure the tournament ran smoothly for our clients, athletes, and attendees.
