iDEKO Serves Up Something Special at Zagat’s Tiny Cafe
While serving food to New Yorkers may not be the hardest thing, doing it with style and finesse is something entirely different. When Zagat hit Astor Place in full force to serve up mini versions of some of New York’s most famous dishes, they tapped iDEKO to help make the event more memorable and to ensure they set the stage for a grandiose experience. In the house for the special event was Pizza Loves Emily, the famed pizza spot located in Brooklyn, who served up mini burgers and pizzas to an accepting crowd. The unique blends of flavor were gobbled up by the crowds and instantly became a fan favorite that Astor Place will be talking about for years to come.Los Tacos No. 1, a taco restaurant started by three friends hailing from Mexico and California, brought their unique flavor to the East Coast in style. They are truly number one in our hearts (and stomachs!) and served up some mini tacos that had patrons asking for more, and more, and more! Now let’s not forget about dessert, which quite frankly, was the highlight of the day. Delicious chocolate chip cookies from Jacques Torres! These delectable little treats made our mouths water and man is that chocolate first-class. No wonder Jacques and his chocolate became an instant success, attracting fans from all over the country to his shop downtown. The event was an incredible culinary success for downtown NYC, one which iDEKO had the pleasure of handling permitting and logistics for. We helped network with the vendors, staff, and promoters, to make sure the event experienced no setbacks or speed bumps. This was a mission well accomplished and we can’t wait to do it again! (We love food!)
