Nike The Energy Run
The Story
Nike wanted to host interactive brand experiences to introduce the new Pegasus 41 running shoe to local running communities. We worked with Nike and design partner Becore to produce The Energy Run in Santa Monica and Chicago to celebrate Global Running Day and the release of the Nike Pegasus 41.
In Santa Monica, over 1,500 runners participated in a 3-mile run, which was followed by post-race festivities on the Santa Monica Pier, including a performance by SOFI TUKKER and a drone show above the Pacific Ocean. In Chicago, over 500 participants took part in a shakeout run, which was followed by a celebratory rooftop party featuring music, refreshments, and swag. We provided production, permitting, logistics, fabrication, and printing to help bring these unique events to life for the LA and Chicago running communities.
