NYC Covid-19 Day of Remembrance
Overview
On March 14th - the one-year anniversary of New York City’s first pandemic-related death - The Mayor’s office honored the over 30,000 New Yorkers who died due to COVID-19 since the start of the pnademic, and paid tribute to the essential workers who helped us through the darkest days of the crisis and continue to support the City’s ongoing recovery. The program featured performances by the New York Philharmonic and The Bishop Hezekiah Walker Choir.
