NYC Homecoming 2021
Concept
Working with the Mayor’s Office and the Universal Hip Hop Museum, IDEKO produced four multi-hour outdoor concerts at Orchard Beach in The Bronx, The Brooklyn Army Terminal, Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, and Midland Beach on Staten Island. A true full management project, IDEKO provided all procurement and event management from start to finish. This included interfacing with Forest Hills Stadium and building three complete from scratch venues with SL260 and SL320 stages, full audio, lighting, mobile video screens, generators, water supply, waste management, food and beverage, security, artist management and contracting, and custom ticketing solutions.
The events were headlined by KRS One, Slick Rick, Remy Ma, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Big Daddy Kane, Desiigner, and Too $hort, wrapping up with George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars.
