NY Liberty Championship Ceremony
The Story
The New York Liberty won its first-ever WNBA championship and New York City’s first basketball title in 51 years in 2024. Following a ticker-tape parade down the renowned Canyon of Heroes, IDEKO produced the Liberty’s championship ceremony at New York City Hall in Downtown Manhattan.
The championship ceremony festivities included interviews with players, coaches, and ownership, remarks from local and state officials, and a presentation of Keys to the City of New York. Our team orchestrated a colorful confetti shower to close the celebration, which delighted players and fans alike. IDEKO handled production, permitting, logistics, site operations, and the printing of the championship banners to bring the historic ceremony to life.
