On October 9th, iDEKO worked with Alicia Keys Worldwide and WME/IMG to produce an epic Alicia Keys concert in an unexpected venue – Times Square. Alicia kicked off her showstopping performance with her new song “The Gospel” from her latest album. The performance was an inspiring one and fans were encouraged to “be in the moment,” as Alicia covered all of her greatest hits in addition to new material. The vibrant billboards in Times Square featured custom, creative content that coordinated with each song’s lyrics, and promoted positive messaging throughout the show. As a surprise for fans, Alicia brought out well known performers such as Q-Tip, Nas, John Mayer and finally Jay Z who joined on stage to sing the celebrated hit “Empire State of Mind.” iDEKO was proud to partner with Alicia Keys Worldwide and IMG to capture this iconic moment, which was broadcast on November 3rd on the BET Network.

Our Role

For the Alicia Keys album launch iDEKO Negotiated media buys for all Times Square OOH Media, Choreographed custom content coordinated with each song’s lyrics, and created live production elements for broadcast on the BET Network. iDEKO also led all onsite production, permitting, safety logistics, staff, talent, etc.
