Concept
In September 2019, we collaborated with Glow Events to design and fabricate a pop-up newsstand activation in celebration of New York Fashion Week. Showcasing their new brand design, the newsstand was entirely monochromatic featuring only yellow swag items and treats. Passersby were encouraged to stop and get free treats including scratch-offs, Lyft rides, and other NYFW essentials.
Our Role
Our team designed, rendered, and built the newsstand structure, complete with magazine shelving, an LED-lit front counter, and beautiful vinyl graphic application. We scouted and permitted Duarte Square, including liaising with the Parks Department and handling all necessary on-site logistics. We also managed on-site security, production parking and storage of assets, and labor for install and strike.
