Concept
On Wednesday February 11th, for the launch of IGNITE, PUMA’s all new and most energized running shoe, New Yorkers harnessed running energy in Times Square with an epic group run. Their energy was collected, and upon reaching 100%, Usain Bolt, the World’s Fastest Man, appeared to officially reveal IGNITE. It was a great way for consumers to experience the magic of the new IGNITE. This reveal led to IDEKO earning a 2015 Event Tech Conference Silver Award for “Best Audience Interactive”.
Our Role
For this launch, IDEKO negotiated media buys for all Times Square OOH Media and choreographed multidimensional consumer facing experience, created custom branded content for Time Square’s largest digital billboards, and led all onsite production including venue scouting, fabrication, construction, staging, A/V, permitting, safety logistics, staff, athletes and participant recruitment.
