Concept

In January 2015, the world’s best ice climber and Red Bull athlete, Will Gadd, asked IDEKO to help him make history by being the first person to ever ascend Niagara Falls at Terrapin Point – a 120-foot vertical climb from the base of the falls on “spray” ice. IDEKO produced this epic climb and secured the first-ever permit to climb the world-famous Niagara Falls. The stunt was once-in-a-lifetime and generated 100M+ earned media impressions for the brand.

Our Role

For this stunt, IDEKO managed the entire process from conception to execution, securing all necessary permits, approvals, and authorizations to ensure the whole feat was flawless. IDEKO secured all permitting, approvals, safety logistics, and production support across all Local, State, and Federal Agencies.
