After 51 years, Sports Illustrated wanted to let fans take part of the Swimsuit franchise and meet the models at week long, multi-city event celebrating the launch of the iconic swimsuit edition.
Working collaboratively with Octagon and Sports Illustrated, iDEKO produced both Swim Week events. (SwimCity in New York City’s Herald Square and Swimville in Nashville’s Upper Broadway) Both events were housed under large clear-topped, clear-sided framed tents. Additionally, iDEKO secured all NYC event permits for SwimCity.
Our Role
For this Sports Illustrated Swimsuit activiation iDEKO curated guest engagements for all other marketing partners , constructed a custom 180 ft. x 35 ft. Clearspan Navitrac tent , and led all onsite production elements which included, permitting, safety logistics, staff, and talent.
The festival included two main stages, featuring Jane’s Addiction, Devo, and Robert Delong as headliners
