In September 2018, iDEKO worked with Burberry London’s creative team & Burberry New York’s media team to debut the Thomas Burberry Bear in NYC during fashion week. This was a part of a series of large fabrication projects that Burberry activated around the globe to debut their new brand logo ahead of designer Riccardo Tisci’s debut collection.
iDEKO provided location recommendations to the client, worked through all engineering with McLaren Engineering and secured all necessary permits for the activation. iDEKO also provided all logistical staffing to oversee entire project inclusive of build, activation phase, breakdown, tech and security. The custom inflatable bear was built inclusive of custom designed lighting, decking, facades, and installation.
