TruTV’s Impractical Jokers Live 100th Episode
Concept
IDEKO partnered with TruTV’s Impractical Jokers television series, to produce a live broadcast of its 100th episode, ‘Live Punishment’ edition. Set in the historic South Street Seaport. the live show featured a thrilling in-broadcast stunt. Murr, Q, Joe and Sal, the show’s stars were forced to walk a 5-story high tightrope. The Jokers delighted crowds as host Howie Mandel narrated a play-by-play for the record 3.6 million viewers at home.
IDEKO provided all of the front-end coordination, onsite management, fabrication and production elements and Broadcast Management Group directed all of the technical aspects to bring this adventurously hilarious event to Impractical Joker fans nationwide. This large-scale production was a huge success, and the finale of Q walking across the tightrope left the 5,000 live fans and millions watching live, in total hysteria.
